Moving the fridge...

The more conventional uses of mutant powers.

So do you think super heroes always use their powers to save the world?  It just so happens that they use their powers to make life easier...for themselves.

The Evil Mutants

Magneto:  When Magneto is on the couch and wants a nice cold beer, does he get up?  Hell no, he just uses his magnetic power to float a beer over.  But if he gets distracted while watching TV, he just might float over his entire fridge!

Omega Red:  Why get up to clean the kitchen?  Lost the remote?  No problem!  Omega Red just has to extend the tendrils coming out of his wrists and use them while sitting down several feet away.

Mr. Sinister:  Ok, Does anyone know just exactly what his powers are?  He pretty much does what he wants, and I am sure that's useful in many ways.  Like when ironing.

SpiralSix arms, six hands, 'nuff said.

Apocalypse:  He gets bigger, 'nuff said.

The Other Guys

Rogue:  With her super strength she has no problem moving around furnature, and since she can fly, there is no place she can't move it to!

Gambit:  With his powers to charge objects with kinetic energy, he never needs to use a corkscrew to open a wine bottle, just charge the cork and POP (he actually did this in a comic).

Beast:  Well, he's strong...and...blue...uh...

Cyclops:  Need to punch holes in a piece of paper to fit it in a binder?  No problem with a concentrated optic blast.  I just wouldn't recommend standing behind the paper.

Storm:  Need a tan?  Just make the day sunny!  Don't want to rake the leaves?  A nice gust of wind should blow them into a pile...or onto the neighbors lawn!

Nightcrawler:  When the commercials come on and he just has to teleport into the kitchen, grab a snack and teleport back without having to worry about missing part of the show!

Iceman:  He uses his powers during the summer to make extra cash...as a slushy machine!
