Here are some easy ways to improve your diet.  If anyone else has any tips, or if they want to write a whole rant, send it in!

 

Stop drinking soda!  That crap is bad for you!  It is very acidic.  It will eat through a steak or a nail (go ahead, put soda in a cup and add a nail).   Being acidic it lowers your over-all pH level.  And since cancer cannot live in higher pH levels, soda is not helping.  Besides, all that caffeine and sugar is not good.  Believe me, quit drinking soda for a month and you will never go back, after drinking fruit juices and tea then you will realize how bad soda tastes when you try to go back.  Yes, I know drinking ice tea is not much better, but I can't give up all my caffeine!  Thats right, no coffee for me.

Get your minerals.  These things are very helpful, and instead of eating dirt, you can get them from vegetables.  Ugh, I hate my vegetables!  But not all of them are bad.  During lunch I usually eat a chef salad (with two spoons of salad dressing).  And if I am really in the mood for some warm food, I will still get a side of salad.  And when at home, I like to make a big tomato sandwich...mmmm *drool*.   No mayonnaise needed (it ruins the taste), just several thick tomato slices. 

When eating that greasy pizza you buy at the cafeteria, push a napkin on the top to absorb the liquid fat.

Do not dip your french fries in mayonnaise!  That is so sick!!!  I can hardly believe some people do that!  I didn't encounter that in the North...use ketchup.

Cut the fat off of your steak.  I love steak, eat it all the time.  But really, eating steak fat sucks, so just cut it off.

When buying hamburger meat, make sure it is about 91% lean.  That is the best, 75% lean is enough fat to kill you after too long.  That would be about a pound of fat for every four pounds (D'uh).  Notice:  Grilling does get rid of a good amount of fat.  Boiling does not.  And I would not recommend burgers from fast food places.

Secret to clear urine:  Drink lots of water.
