I believe that everyone should have guns.  All types, bazookas, automatics, ect.   I also believe that only I should have the ammo.  I wouldn't trust you people with anything more dangerous then a peice of string!  Ok, here is my real opinion...

Guns don't kill people my ass!  A gun is a weapon, like any other, such as a club or a nuclear warhead.  And if you use it in defense, then nothing goes wrong.   Except you know not everyone will do that.  How many crimes do you think are committed using guns?  Hell of allot.  And pretty much anyone can get a gun.   I don't give a rats ass who you blame for all these crimes that are committed, point is, they can't commit the crime without a gun.  What we need are better restrictions on guns and tougher punishments for selling them illegally.  But whenever we try to pass a gun bill, the NRA whines like a baby.  As if we are threatening the rights of every human being.  Its in the constitution!  What a weak ass excuse.  The right to bear arms was put in the constitution so that we would have an army ready if British soldiers attacked us.  If the king of England came in here and started pushing you around, you might want a gun.  But really, if you have a gun, and a criminal has a gun, it comes down to who shoots first.  In that situation, someone is going to probably die.  And if that criminal did not have access to that gun in the first place...

Don't get me wrong, if the common person (notice, I did not say moron), wants to own a gun, I have nothing against that.  Some people live in dangerous areas (maybe that area is dangerous because so many criminals have weapons).  Just remember, you are more likely to shoot a family member then a crook.
