Back when I was young
My closet was not right.
Inside not clothes that hung,
But an old skeleton
Hiding inside out of site.
How the shadows sway.
Eating up the light,
Scaring me at night.
My fears would not lay,
When the clocks midnight rung.
But thankful for the day,
When monsters are scared away.
